People who come and shop @ World Brand would love it. But the clientele is usually a bit odd, quirky, alternative in some aspect, and truly loves fashion. I was once a victim of such addiction, and still now is a fan.

World is a dangerous shop because I can always spend money there. Normally price is relatively high from 100 -300NZDollar per item. But when the sale hits, everyone has World.

The elaborated design and out there look can be ‘much’ for some, but the key to tone down these striking pieces is to team them up with some basics. But who wants to be plain and boring when you have to show the World what you’re made of.

For sure you’ll see colours and lot of it in the design that  DENISE L’ESTRANGE - CORBET AND FRANCIS HOOPER create (started back in 1989). The clothes are also very tailored fitting, almost petite in some designs, unusual for a Kiwi woman standard sizing, making you feel feminine and sexy.

It always looks like candy to me whenever I visit the store. World also has some quirky finds such as vintage or antique pop culture toys making each visit pleasant and truly enjoyable. The store on High street is big, wooden floor and spacious clothes layout, big massive mirror and lots of great outfit to take away from. Men Store is just a few steps down the road, with a humble size but there’s pieces that I also like to have. That says something about how cool and versatile Denis and Francis’ creation.
