Vietnamese Designers at Designer House celebrating 1 year in the making

Minh Hoa is always committed and stay true to her passion of having fun with quirky fabric, with a loose, comfort silhouette. This collection speaks of the ethnic design, a modern and playful twist of construction, almost mix of western hippie and the ethic minority who lives in the northern mountain. Just a bit worry on the craftsmanship, at times her stitching is not always careful and can come off easily. Interesting to watch, I would like to meet her soon, kinda like her stuff.

An Nhien is uber young, enthusiastic and full of energy designer,  An Nhien collection is both modern, sleek but a bit girlie and feminine. Her 3 wedding gowns are made for the 24 something girl who would be wearing, sitting on the vespa with number plate title ‘just married’. She’s so skinny lately. Cute collection though.

Kim Khanh – someone I have never heard of, the designer herself is so skinny, probably reflects on the own collection, but interesting. I like the pants – remind of me Cong Khanh dress once I owned. Like the jackets though, just wondering on the quality of the materials.

As for those who love the sparkle, here is something to be considered. But I wonder, what’s the point? Probably go to velvet night club in those. Fun, and last once. Nevertheless it’s not boring.

Some of other highlight outfits – for those to work, really need to visit the store to check on quality. Some are easy to digest and some are just vain, or even ‘gore’ minus the blood part.

Im not sure how to translate this number. But it does stand out, I would like to try for a occasion though unsure what it would be, for sure some local Viet stars can pull this off – just watch the degree of taste here. Half glam half odd I find.

Not a bad interpretation of red and sequin. Suits on a long and thin body. Can be a red carpet material for Vietnamese star. And I have no interest in wedding gown but this one is not bad actually. Got character.

The shop is back after the show evening and have promotion during the short time. Let see what I can bring home. After all it’s Vietnamese designers in the making.
